The annual $100 for 100 charity event served 120 people this year at Dick’s Sporting Goods at the Square One Mall on Dec. 11.
“Kids are in need and we couldn’t narrow it down,” said Mitzi Lawlor of the D’Alelio Management Company of Medford, which sponsors the event, in reference to the usual practice of giving 100 $100 Dick’s gift cards to youths in the area who are nominated by teachers, friends and relatives. “We chose kids most in need.”
