Helen D’Alelio Family Foundation
The D’Alelio Family has earned a strong reputation for social responsibility and community involvement. In 2011 we formed the Helen D’Alelio Family Foundation in memory of our founder and mother Helen D’Alelio. Helen was a very charitable person, always willing to help those in need. The foundation was formed to support and partner with those organizations that were dear to heart for Helen. We have recently partnered with the Jimmy Fund, Joyal Capital Management’s $100 for 100 programs, Children’s Hospital Boston, and the Ron Burton Training Village.
The foundation has recently announced scholarships to graduating seniors in many of the communities that we do business. We continue to grow existing relationships with local and national organizations. Our long standing record of community involvement and corporate social responsibility is a source of pride for our team.
GIVING BACK IS THE BEST GIFT OF ALL
In 2010 The D’Alelio Management Company became a proud sponsor of the Joyal Capital Management Foundation, Inc. $100 for 100 event. These events provide a $100 gift card to 100 children in need to be nominated by members of their community such as teachers, coaches, neighbors and youth groups (or you!) to shop with volunteers and purchase items for themselves during the $100 for 100 Event at Dick’s Sporting Goods during the holiday season.
As we enter our 5th year of helping hundreds of children, we want to personally invite you to nominate a child. Each child selected will receive a $100 gift card. The children will attend our event, and shop for basic essentials such as hats, gloves, boots, jackets and sneakers for themselves or can demonstrate their own spirit of giving by purchasing gifts for others.
We are excited about the opportunity these experiences provide to our local children and families.
