The D’Alelio Management Company is a family owned multi-unit Dunkin Donuts franchise network. The Company is owned and operated by 3 siblings Ralph D’Alelio Jr, Mitzi (D’Alelio) Lawlor and Gary D’Alelio. The three pride themselves on running great stores; being a compassionate neighbor and giving back to the communities they do business in. The company wasn’t always run by the children. In fact it was their parents Helen and Ralph Sr. who started the company with their first location in 1977 in Union Square Somerville. Ralph Jr. was working at that location when it went for sale. He begged his parents to buy the store so he could continue working there. The D’Alelio’s scrimped and saved to make the dream happen. Helen and Ralph Sr. were the driving force. They had a vision and a dream to expand the business so their children would have continued employment. Helen was a master at running the business and negotiating deals. The family continued expanding by opening restaurants in Medford, Cambridge and Charlestown. Today the D’Alelio Family own and operate 18 Dunkin’ Donut franchises throughout the greater Boston area.

Every Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee attends an intensive five week program at Dunkin’ Donuts University (established in 1966).

Mitzi has over 35 years of experience in the Dunkin' Donuts business. She is well known and respected in the Dunkin' Donuts community. Mitzi is currently a member of the Boston Ad Committee and the Boston Pricing Committee. Mitzi focuses on Strategic Planning, Accounting and Finance. She also handles legal work and succession planning. Mitzi holds a BS from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and an MBA from Bentley University.
Gary D'AlelioVice-President & COO (Chief Operating Officer)
Gary has over 35 years of experience in the Dunkin' Donuts business. He specializes in the operations, people and organizational development. He also handles the Information Technology related growth. He is always looking for ways to upgrade and improve our technology through innovation. Gary works directly with Dunkin' Brands' operational group and serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Northeast Regional Advisory Council. Gary studied management at Salem State University.
Ralph D'AlelioCDO (Chief Development Officer)
Ralph has over 45 years of experience Dunkin' Donuts experience. He started working at his Uncle's Dunkin' Donuts in Somerville at the age of 15. Today, Ralph specializes in operations, construction of new sites and remodels. He currently oversees the maintenance department to ensure all restaurants are properly in good working order. Ralph studied electrical technology at Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology.
